|Joe Coletta, Founder & CEO
Joe is a customer focused management executive with a passion for building, leading, and growing high performance teams. Joe started his career in software engineering and grew through management ranks within telecommunications and consumer electronics firms. Joe led teams in engineering, program management, and product management, as well as leading cradle to grave businesses. He chose to leave a Vice President position at Motorola in 2008, to create a premiere recruiting and consulting firm. The firm he created, 180, refers to the different approach and better results he was committed to delivering. 180 has grown into the firm he envisioned, servicing technology companies in the US and Europe. Joe received his MBA from Northwestern University Kellogg’s Graduate School of Business, and his Masters in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
|Kathy Davis, Office Manager
Kathy has been the Office Manager at 180 since 2010. She handles the day-to-day operations, tracks sales/recruiter metrics, on-boards contractors, invoices clients, and processes payroll. She has a BSEE from Marquette University and worked for 13-years as a Software Engineer/Manager at Motorola Cellular.
|Julie Kittridge, Sr. Search Consultant
Julie is a seasoned full desk recruiter who began her career within the medical/technical industry in the 1990’s working for a major Chicago teaching hospital as a career adviser and nurse recruiter. She moved into the financial services industry in the late 1990’s serving the mutual fund/financial industry and eventually started her own successful search firm, Kittridge & Associates, running it for 10 years. When Joe Coletta called her and asked her to join 180, she could not pass up the opportunity to work for a start-up firm with the kind of vision Joe had. Julie has the right mix of enthusiasm and knack for finding the right candidates for her clients. She has been working at 180 since 2011.
|George Santos, Search Consultant
George is part of the full desk recruiting team, specializing in aerospace/aviation industries. Before joining 180 in 2013, he spent over 6 years at Best Buy There he led his team to become one of the top performing stores in attachments and solutions. George joined 180 in search of another opportunity that combined his love of technology and working with people. George prides himself on extensively researching the roles he works on in order to match the perfect candidate with the right opportunity, as well as delivering quality talent to his clients. When he is not working, George can usually be found under the hood of a classic car or researching the latest in technology trends. George received his BA in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013, where his areas of study were International Relations and Law in Society.
|Rusty Kubis, Search Consultant
Rusty joined the 180 team in March of 2014 as a recruiter, excited to help people take the next step in their career. Rusty is currently responsible for recruiting, account management and new business development where he is leveraging his previous sales and recruiting experience to build relationships with current and future 180 clients and candidates. Previously, Rusty worked as a sales professional for Sun-Times Media Digital, The AHL’s Chicago Wolves and The MLB’s Tampa Bay Rays where he thrived by creating rock solid relationships built on trust, respect and execution. Rusty is applying these same principles to the staffing industry where he is focused on being a professional that clients and candidates can rely on to deliver results. Outside of work, Rusty enjoys golfing, playing hockey, traveling, podcasts, Netflixing and spending time with family and friends. Rusty received his BBA from Loyola University Chicago in 2009.
|Nick Suleiman, Search Consultant
Nick joined the 180 recruiting team in June of 2015 eager to help people maintain their envisioned career paths. Nick was brought on to the team as a full desk recruiter where utilizes his effective customer service and hiring skills gained over his career. Previously, Nick worked as a territory manager for Liberty Amusement in Chicago where he developed and maintained long lasting relationships with a variety of different clients. After his time at Liberty Amusement, Nick went on to start up Furniture Village Inc in Summit, IL. Nick built Furniture Village from a start up to a successful business still in operation today. He prides himself on his ability to understand his candidate’s & client’s wants and needs as well as his ability to grow and evolve his relationships. He applies the same principals which made Furniture Village a successful and reputable company. His main principal is the age old golden rule. Treat people the way you want to be treated. On weekends, Nick tries to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible and loves playing all different kinds of sports. Nick attended DePaul University where he majored in Marketing.
|Julie Johnson, Search Consultant
Julie joined 180 as a full-desk recruiter with the goal of helping candidates achieve their dream job and working for clients to deliver an excellent match. She enjoys going to the next level with prospects and it is her love of working personally with candidates that sets her apart.
Prior to 180, Julie spent 10 years in the financial industry where she worked in wholesale mortgage serving banks and brokers, prior to becoming a mortgage broker herself. Julie spent time as a recruiter years ago and she is eager to once again find that perfect match between candidates and clients. At 180, Julie prides herself on doing the best for her clients each and every time. In her personal time, Julie can be found cheering for her kids’ sports teams, enjoying the outdoors and just relaxing with her family.
|Marie Pinetti, Search Consultant
Marie is a full desk recruiter passionate in helping others progress in their careers. Marie is relationship driven and excels at building collaborative and trusting partnerships to match the right candidate to the right opportunity. She has a very personable style that allows her to understand both the needs of her clients as well as the candidates she represents to ensure the best possible fit. Prior to joining the 180 team, Marie worked in the healthcare industry for 13 years as an Account Manager, Recruiter, National Trainer and Sales Director. She applies the same core values today that attributed to her success in healthcare; integrity, reliability and respect. Outside of work, Marie enjoys traveling, decorating, tennis and spending time with her family and friends. Marie received her BS in Organizational Leadership from Dominican University.
|Sasha Zayed, Search Consultant
Sasha joined the 180 recruiting team in January of 2017 with the intention of expanding her career in leadership and executive search. Sasha has almost a decade of sales experience ranging from inside/outside sales, biopharma laboratory sales, and has recently joined the ranks by placing several top level information technology professionals for Fortune 500 Companies and financial trading firms across the U.S. Sasha’s approach to recruiting is very consultative and focused on meeting the needs of both client and candidate. Purpose-driven work is what motivates Sasha’s success. She has found a new home with 180, where being “dedicated to the relentless pursuit of improving lives” is perfectly aligned with her core values. She is passionate, entrepreneurial, and focused on results. What makes Sasha unique is her aptitude for organizational behavior and leadership. She understands company culture and treats her client’s organizations as her own, paying careful attention to the quality and personality of each candidate she represents. When Sasha isn’t working, she is usually spending time with family/friends, attending concerts and other personal development seminars. Sasha earned her BA in Organizational Communications from Elmhurst College and is currently working on her MA in Organizational Leadership and Coaching from Lewis University.
